James has been to 2 previous conventions (or Cons), but this was Christopher's and my first time.
We took many, many pictures, but it's hard to get a good idea of the sheer numbers of people that were there. The entire Indiana Convention Center was taken over, plus every single meeting room and ballroom in each of the surrounding hotels.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency, which was much more expensive but also much more convenient than finding a cheaper place that was 30 miles away. We could take the Sky Walk (walkways on the 2nd floor, connecting all of the buildings) to the convention center, and never have to cross any traffic on the streets below. Also, whenever Christopher needed a break, I could just bring him back to the hotel room for a nap or some TV.
